Personnel Officer
Do you want to work in an environment where you become a crucial link in a socially vital operation? As a Personnel Officer in the Swedish Armed Forces, you are a key part of an agency experiencing strong growth.
Main Responsibilities
As a Personnel Officer, you work with personnel matters within the unit and are responsible for supporting and developing routines and processes within the personnel function. The role consists largely of routine-based tasks, while new tasks may be added based on operational needs.
Examples of tasks and areas of responsibility:
- Military placement of personnel
- Personnel planning and leadership supply
- Staffing assignments within the Swedish Armed Forces
- Instructor reinforcement within the Swedish Armed Forces
- Coordination of the unit's reserve officers
- Student administration and coordination of students in relation to military schools and course activities, such as GOU, OP, HSOU, and HOP training
- Participate in or lead committees/staff work with a focus on personnel services, or support other staff work

Qualifications
- Education in and/or experience with personnel services
- Current or former commissioned officer in the Swedish Armed Forces, SO7-8 or alternatively OF2-3.
- Meets the Swedish Armed Forces' physical requirements (FM FysS)
- Good IT skills
- Category B driver's license
Meritorious
- Experience with training coordination
- Experience from government agencies or public administration
- Experience with IOR (Individual Operational Readiness)
- Academic education in Human Resources Management

We are looking for someone who has good multitasking abilities and thrives working with a mix of routine matters and new challenges. As a person, you are structured and have an easy time prioritizing your tasks. You have good collaboration skills, are proactive, and enjoy working both independently and in a team.

Other Information
The position is suitable for both an officer with medium (5-10 years) or long (more than 10 years) experience. In the first case, perhaps as an intermediate step before further development to higher levels or another direction/type of assignment. For an officer with long experience, it can be a new area of work where experience from previous assignments provides basic knowledge in personnel management and planning, with an interest in deepening and long-term work within the personnel field. The employment is a full-time permanent position starting with a 6-month probationary period for those who do not already work within the Swedish Armed Forces. The employment includes international work obligation and an obligation to be placed in wartime duties. Remote work is not applied.
